Nazca

We started the journey to Nazca this morning after I had less than 5 hours sleep, unlike Colin who's smart watch told him he'd had 10 hours. How, I don't know!! The hostel opposite had music blaring out until the early hours.
We stopped off at a Pisco brewery for a tasting session, not realising we'd be tasting about a dozen. Colin was positively tipsy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
It was a delightful way to pass an hour     πŸ·πŸΉπŸΈπŸ₯ƒ

Next stop is Nazca.
The Nazca Lines in southern Peru are a group of pre-Columbian geoglyphs etched into desert sands. Covering an area of nearly 1,000 sq. kilometers, there are about 300 different figures, including animals and plants. Composed of over 10,000 lines, some of which measure 30 meters wide and stretch more than 9 kilometers, the figures are most visible from the air or nearby hilltops.

Due to the cost and time constraints we chose to climb the 35 metre tower rather than do the flight.
